Spacious, comfortable house with two cats needs looking after from May 31st to June 9th.
The house has a large lounge with wood burner, kitchen and dining room plus utility room, office, downstairs bathroom and shower, hallway and music room.
Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a small shower room.
Wifi. Poor mobile reception but the land line may be used for most calls.
The quiet lane leads on to the open forest and the gate needs to be closed at all times to keep the forest ponies and donkeys out of the driveway and garden.
Our cats are both Asians (a bit Burmese-ish), neutered females, and extremely affectionate!
Pilley is a tiny village with a shop and pub (1 mile, 15 minute walk), situated within the New Forest national park, approximately 2.5 miles from the coastal town of Lymington, with its Saturday market and ferry port to the Isle of Wight. Brockenhurst station (5 miles) has a direct rail line to London Waterloo, the journey time of 1 hour 40 minutes making day trips perfectly feasible. There is a bus service past our door, but with its infrequency you really need to have a car! Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Winchester and Salisbury are all within an hour’s drive.
