We are looking for a house sitter from for 2 weeks. We live in a small but very neat and cosy country cottage in the Yarra Valley on 10 acres. Lovely gardens and view. We have 2 small dogs that are in house dogs. They don't require walking whilst we are away but we need someone that really loves and appreciates animals since that is very important to us. We do have a garden and vegie patch that may need watering depending on weather. We also have 3 horses that would be very low maintenance in our absence. They will just require hay fed out daily and water troughs checked that they are working but if a sitter isn't comfortable around horses that is fine, we have a girl that can visit daily to accommodate the equine requirements. We are very close to wineries and many of the attractions within the Valley but a car would be needed for this sit since there is no public transport that goes past our place. We do live on a main road and our property is not at all isolated with farmlets neighbouring on either side and across the road and we are approx 10 mins from township with Coles/Woolworths and all the shops required. Would prefer a person or couple that is retired or only working part time for our dogs.
