We are looking for a reliable, and handy male boat-sitter or couple to live aboard in our boat, and take care of our guest business when we are not in town.
We have a 44-foot sailboat with 2 cabins that will remain docked in the marina at all times. You would be taking the bed in the salon, and are welcome to use the cabins if they are not rented out.
You would have to greet the guests around 3pm the day they check-in. After they leave, you would have to launder their linens, make the bed, and clean the cabin and bathroom for the next guest.
Working on other boat projects when there are no guests would be appreciated, such as polishing the stainless steel, the wood, plumbing, electrical, etc.
Security 24/7.
Walking-distance to restaurants, shops, cafés, night life, and a 10-minute walk to the beach. The marina has a swimming pool, a bar, shower rooms, toilets, WIFI, and cable TV. The boat has A/C, and a washer/drier machine. There is a paddle-board and possibly one or two bikes for your use.
Even though the boat will be in quiet waters, it will still be in the water, so if you're prone to motion sickness, maybe this is not the best job for you.
Living in a boat means living in tight quarters, so respect for the other guests is crucial. Being organized, clean, and quiet is essential.
You would have to pay for utilities ($300/month).
Thank you!
