I need a responsible, reliable, and communicative cat-loving person to stay at my apartment while I work out of town between February 13th and March 6th, 2016. The right person could arrange to stay somewhat longer if desired.
I may be coming back to the apartment at most one day a week during that period. You'll need to feed and scoop litter daily for my three cats, and pet and play with them somewhat regularly.
It's a clean and neat, uncluttered if small (about 650 square feet) apartment, the first floor of a two-story, two apartment row house, directly across the street from a large park with beautiful trees and an urban stream. There's a small front yard and decent sized, fenced, back yard with large trees around, a parking pad by the back alley, and a basement with a washer and dryer, which a house sitter will be welcome to take advantage of. There's plenty of parking space on the street. Neighbors above and on both sides are quiet and polite.
The sitter will have a nearly empty bedroom to stay in, with a twin bed, a small empty closet, and tables, chairs and shelves can be made available in the bedroom if desired. I'll make ample space available in the living room and kitchen as well.
I'd really like a sitter who loves cats like I do, and is willing to be briefed on my three cats' personalities, interactions, and preferences, and cater to them some. Be their buddy.
Other then that, just stay here most nights, use my high speed internet connection, and enjoy the space. Shovel the front walkway if it snows, bring in the mail, and take out your trash and recycling. I have no television set. The sitter should have their own computer and/or devices to hook up.
