We are a professional couple and have been called overseas for work for a year, possibly longer and taking our two pooches seems to not be working out.
We are looking for a responsible couple/person for a long term house sit (commitment of minimum of one year, possibly longer - flexibility to stay longer is a huge bonus to us) to look after our mountain home with our two pooches while we are away.
This is perfect for a internet entrepreneur/blogger or retiree to enjoy our personal sanctuary in exchange for showing the kind of love for our dogs we would, and keeping our sanctuary sacred and clean.
Our neighbours are very friendly and can help out if required.
Features of the Property & Location
Our mountain home sits in Lake Lure, NC on 8 acres of beautiful private land.
Our home has a wrap around covered deck, overlooking the mountains, and is completely private and secluded.
This two story 1,800 square foot home has:
* 1 large master bedroom
* 2 offices (set up with desks - perfect for the traveller who works through the web)
* A large rec room
* Yoga, fitness and meditation area upstairs
The whole house has powerful stable internet.
On the property there are:
* Porch Swings
* Electric BBQ
* Fire Pit
Car may be available but it is much more preferable if you have your own car. A car is needed here to get to grocery stores and major towns (good minute drive away). This is a true mountain getaway home in a private lot.
Responsiblities:
We have been called overseas for work for a year, possibly longer and taking our two pooches seems to not be working out. We are looking for a couple or someone to commit for at least a year to lovingly looking after our home, and our pooches (feed them twice a day, take them on walks 2-3x a day for 15 or so minutes, and play with them here and there), keeping us updated et.c
We can come visit in between if required..
Our neighbours are also super friendly and love us and you can get help from them too.
Perfect for the travelling professional/remote worker.
