I would like to find a quiet person or couple to look after my aged and rather nervous cat Cydney and generally look after my home. Duties would be to feed her and let her out in the morning and in early evenings, and to feed her daily. I don't have a cat flap.
I would also appreciate my garden pots and tomatoes in the greenhouse being watered each day.
My home is detached in a quiet, small East Yorkshire village by the banks of the river Aire. We have a lovely pub in the village which does great food and a garage. A car would be beneficial as there are only one or two buses through the village each day.
I live 3 miles from the pretty market town of Howden, or 3 miles the other way to the Port of Goole. 25 miles from York (well worth visiting and there are several park and ride options), or Hull and about 35 miles from Leeds via the M62 which is only a mile away.
The timing of the house-sit is negotiable, as I am away from July 20th to August 17th, so anytime during that period is fine. My son, who lives in nearby Howden, will attend to Cyd if needed on a daily basis, and will be a contact if needed during your stay.
