I need a petsitter for my indoor/outdoor, easy-going cat. I have a comfortable (but not fancy), one-story, 2-bedroom house with an art studio. There's a grassy yard and a patio with table and chairs and a carport. In addition to taking care of the cat, I need you to water the outdoor plants.
Colonia San Antonio is a nice residential neighborhood with plenty of small grocery stores as well as cafes, restaurants, yoga studios, etc. It is a flat, 5-minute walk to Calle Ancha, with restaurants, shops and cafes, and an easy 10-minute walk to San Miguel's main plaza. I walk but may take a bus (stop is two blocks away) or taxi (inexpensive!) or Uber back if I am carrying heavy things, or at night.
San Miguel de Allende has won many accolades for its charm and beauty; the downtown area has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its 18th-19th century buildings. There are tons of things to do: live music, Spanish schools, English-language lectures and classes in art as well as health- and spiritual-related topics), meditation and yoga classes, and art galleries.
Great variety of inexpensive and moderately priced restaurants. Outside town are hot springs, archaeological sites, and much more.
