Come and live for a year in a beautiful natural environment at the foothills of the Andes! We are a Dutch/American/Argentine family looking for responsible, handy, flexible, kind caretaker couple/family to manage and maintain our homestead and private nature reserve with visitor services.
Spanish as well as English speaking necessary. Knowledge of gardening/farming, biology/ecology and construction/maintenance required. You will be assisting in the execution of our annual conservation plan, maintaining structures, and hosting visitors.
There is a main house on the property where you would live and a guesthouse you would help rent out whilst maintaining both. There is a workshop equipped with tools for wood, glass, metalwork and more. Also, on the premise, an organic vegetable and fruit garden, greenhouse, chickens, pond with ducks, dogs, and cats.
Here you will find modern living comforts in the middle of the jungle, fresh spring water out of the tap, electricity, internet, etc. The reserve is located in a small town of mainly locals with a primary school, first aid post, and a small shop. The closest town is a twenty-minute drive where you can find more services and supplies.
