My wife and I (both retired) are planning a short trip to Maryland in early April. We are leaving early on April 6th, so the sit would begin on April5 (so we can show you around). We will return in the evening of April 11.
We have a home with a large fenced yard. We live upstairs; no one lives downstairs.
The pets are: a standard poodle, male, about 65 pounds, very friendly and easy to care for. The cat also lives upstairs with us. Requirements are only to feed and water both the cat and the dog, empty cat litter, and show them some love; let the dog out and in as needed. The dog does not need to be walked as he gets plenty of exercise in our large yard. A few plants on the deck or inside may need water if it's been very dry.
We are about 11 miles west of Asheville, so there is a whole lot to do and see and experience here - a prime tourist destination.
The house is on a long driveway lane with 3 houses, ours is the last one. Heavily wooded. The home has two decks on our level - one by the entrance, one by the kitchen. The home is heated and air-conditioned as needed (heat pump). Normal home amenities (kitchen, full bath, comfortable beds, two bedrooms up, wifi, smart tv, Apple TV, Roku, etc.)
Google "Asheville" - you will see what a wealth of fun activities we have to offer, whatever your interests.
