We live in an old farm house, which used to be a bodega, and run a tiny vegan B&B. Since we currently have four dogs and five cats we do need a very reliable and loving housesitter .
As it could be quite difficult for one person to watch over the dogs (the terrain is not fenced in), we would defenitely prefer a couple oder pair of friends.
It would be a big plus if you could take care of our small guest apartment as well (no need to make breakast - just hand over the keys and clean after the guests will have left)
One of our dog needs a special food due to an allergy. Another one is very old (17) and had a traumatic former life and therefore needs some more attention and needs to treated very sensible.
Our dogs are:
Sheila, a German-Sherpherd/Podenco-Mix, 12 yrs old and still very, very playful.
Perrie, a Galgo/Border-Collie-Mix of 9 yrs
Granny, a rescued Podenco and former so called chain-dog, now 17 years old and still very shy. She is almost deaf.
Nala, our Galgo, 9 years, very sensitive and fast :-)
All of them are females.
Candidates should be well experienced with dogs to be able to handle all the "conflicts" that can occur within a pack.
The cats are: Diego, Tino, Joschi, Pebbles and Pitufo. They leave and enter the house as they want.
We are living in the "campo", around a 10 minutes drive from the village of Algodonales. There you will find everything you need: supermarket, bars, restaurants etc.
At our place you will be able to enjoy the silence and an amazing view over the Sierra of Grazalema.
We do have a pool which is open all year long, but not heated, so in November or December it could be a bit cold.
We have some books, but most of them are in German. We do not have TV anymore but you are free to use our netflix account to watch a movie it you would like to.
Of course we have Internet/WiFi, which is fast enough to make us be able to work from home.
