Would you like to stay long term in the Cote D'Azur? Well we have the opportunity for you to do that. Escape the winter and enjoy panoramic views in the sunny cote d'azur, 7kms from Grasse capital of perfume. Enjoy the natural surroundings on a 3.5 Acre estate. We are looking for a couple who can commit to at least 2 months.
We are a holiday apartment complex with 11 units with a capacity of 53 people. We are on 3.5 acres of grounds and surrounded by the Alpes Maritimes National Park. However, we are also close to towns and villages so we are not remote.
We came here as caretakers on a 10 month contract working 20 hours a week we got this position through housecarers. We are now the Managers so we lead by example as we have a great deal of experience at this complex. We have, through another organisation, plenty of help around here, however we need right hand people to work alongside them and supervise/organise any work that needs doing during the Winter.
We are English, Tony is from London and Valerie is from Liverpool. We are easy going and have a good sense of humour. We have been here for 3 years.
You will be provided with your own fully equipped apartment with panoramic views to cannes, nice and the surrounding villages. Use of all facilities,Wifi, ,Tennis,Pétanque,Table tennis as well as great hiking and cycling. We have 2 bikes you can use. There are beautiful villages to visit along with Nice Cannes St Tropez Antibes.
In exchange the commitment we need from you is as follows:
- 20 hours a week per person
- supervisory and organisational skills
- an active, physically fit couple
- financially independent
- own transport

- general maintenance skills - trade background would be ideal
- supervisory skills - you will have complete assistance with all these jobs as we have other people who come to work for us
- gardening, collecting of leaves in the Winter and basic gardening
- cleaning (as and when if we have guests and Spring cleaning in the New Year)
- painting skills
- organised and can use their own initiative
- honest,trustworthy, reliable
- sense of humour
- can speak english
Your job here would to be our right hand person(s). We have other people who come to work for us. Your job would be to organise and supervise them and also do the work along with them. You would be dealing with people of different nationalities, ages and cultures. You have to be a people person, patient and organised. The work is as listed above, whatever we require. There are not many guests in the winter, it will be mainly be the maintenance of the place. If we go away you will be trained to be the caretakers here during our absence.
