We are looking for a dog lover to come stay with our 75 pounds of love-- our 14 year old first born dog and our oh so soft aussie pup (born August 2016). Mazel the big guy is easy, good company, can be left alone yet also enjoys short slow walks. He takes arthritis medication twice per day. We put it in pill pockets which he thinks are yummy. He free feeds and needs two short walks per day. He also gets eye drops at night. Tova our Aussie pup does best with long off leash walks at the array of wonderful dog friendly options for hikes and nature walks all only minutes away by car. We also have a dog park a few blocks away that is fenced and off lleash and she loves to romp with her puppy friends in the late afternoons. She is not easy to walk in the neigborhood because she is a hearding dog and thinks scooters, bikes, runners are all rouge sheep that need herding. She barks at anything moving quickly. We are more than happy to arrange doggie day care for her as much as needed if you are planning to be away much of the day. we just need you to drive her to metrodog which is a five min drive. With proof of insurance and clean driving record we could loan you a car. For a puppy she is quite calm and will settle down and sit by your feet . She sleeps through the night and is housebroken. I find the hardest part is walking on leash around the neigborhood so I try to avoid that and take her to off leash places.
We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath home that is located 1 block to Solono Ave which is our main street with great food, shops, movie theatre, coffee shops, markets and more. Our home is even walking distance to BART. From out home you can drive to San Francisco in only 20 min w/out traffic.
We'd like to find someone who can come before we leave to meet the dogs and show you the ropes.
