# Enjoy an unparalleled stay
1) A delightful home and enjoyable farm stay with animals to care for.
Imagine yourself living the rewarding farm life where you wake up to nature and bird song, where the air is so much purer, the stars brighter and nature abounds with beauty. If you love native plants, bird life, the bush, kangaroos or koalas, you
would love it here. The house is cool in summer with
ceiling fans in all living and sleeping areas. Relax out on the run-around veranda with seating and dining areas outside, catching the breeze. If you’re looking for entertainment at home, there is Foxtel, big screen TV and satellite internet with wifi. Dishwasher, washing machine etc.
Enjoy the company of easy, low maintenance animals: A flock of 12 free-ranging chooks are waiting to meet you. They need to be fed and eggs collected daily as well as closed up at night, and in return, you can enjoy delicious eggs every day with some eggs to spare for baking.
We have three healthy, happy dogs, two miniature poodles and one Kelpie, all girls. They need to be fed and taken for short walks on the property.
The garden and fruit orchards at the house needs watering if there is no rain, there is irrigation from the dam as well as areas of plants that can be watered by hose.
# Magnificent surrounding area:
2) Nature walks
The farm has a beautiful dam, teeming with ducks, birds and the yellow tailed black cockatoo and 60 acres of bushland which includes a koala corridor. Watch the kangaroos jumping away in the area. Koalas have been spotted and heard since October. There are several forests close by with a variety of wildlife.
3) Amenities
Visit Cooloola Berries for delicious food and ice cream, picking your own strawberries and live music on weekends. Silky Oak Tea Gardens, a pub style restaurant and craft brewery nearby, is also a live music venue on weekends. Don't miss the corner store in the vicinity as well as shops and restaurants in Tin Can Bay, Cooloola Cove, Rainbow beach, Gympie and Noosa. Go veggie shopping at the fresh food farmers markets in the surrounding towns. For a colourful experience, take a drive not to miss the famous Eumundi Market.
4) Relaxation:
Go to the beach for the day at the magnificent crystal clear beach of Rainbow beach or take a drive to Tin Can Bay and feed the playful dolphins.
5) Sport lovers
Take out the golf clubs and head down to the Tin Can Bay country club. If you love activities at the beach, enjoy any of multiple sea activities, kayaking, horse riding, paddling or surfing at Rainbow beach.
# Experience the real Australia:
