We are looking for a short term house sitter to look after our farm and animals from November 30th 2016 until Saturday 3rd Decmber 2016.
We live off-grid on 22 acres of olive groves and pine forest, however the accomodation and facilities are all 100% modern with high speed internet, solar and wind power, full bathroom facilities, a genertor for back up etc.
The land itself won't actually require any work during the stay (unless the sitter fancies getting stuck into some maintenance). We produce olive oil and also have veg gardens, wild herbs, nut trees, chickens and ducks that supply us with food to enjoy - the housesitters would be able to pick and enjoy as much as they would like during the stay.
The main task we would require would be feeding and looking after the animals. For example, letting the chickens and ducks out each morning/putting them in each night, checking theres enough food/water/clean bedding, feeding the dogs and cat.
The rest of the time can be spent as you please and enjoying the stunning surroundings - our land borders the Sierra de las Nieves national park with a thriving wildlife population and picture perfect moutain walks.
Please get in touch with any questions.
This is only a short break, but we will also be looking for sitters for a longer period next year.
