We have a lovely 2 bed bungalow in the quiet area of Park Street. This area is a 10 minute bus ride into St Albans City / train ride with its Cathedral and fabulous High Street. We have seen a fox and many squirrels in our garden. We would like someone to stay in our home overnight to keep the dogs company whilst we're away. We would like them walked at least once a day however our girl needs to be muzzled at all times. She is not aggresive, but she is a bit snippy at other dogs and even if kept on leash, there is a risk that she may nip if another dog apporaches her too quickly. There are a few parks close by, but we often just take them on leashed walks around the houses. Our little boy is quite an adventurer so if you do let him off leash, he will eventually return but for the most part loves adventuring and smelling new things.
We have a lovely garden with a barbeque and seating. We are able to walk the dogs into town, but often take the Abbey Flyer back into How Wood station as our girl takes a bit of strain as she has arthritis.
St Albans has 2 train stations, one train goes between St Albans and Watford, which is easy access into London Euston Station, the St Albans City station has a fast train into St Pancras. There are buses in the area depending on how far you walk.
