Xerxes is an 13 year old black giant schnauzer, about 90#. While he listens reasonably well, he can also be affectionate and excited with new people, helpful if pet sitter is knowledge of large dog behavior and comfortable with large dogs. Off-leash dog parks are within close distance and we have a map, and lots of trails short drive out of town for trail walking. He is a great walking buddy. He needs two slow walks a day to stay nimble, otherwise he's happy to just hang out with you. He is definitely a senior and takes medicine (easily) 3 times a day.
We also have a cat who gets fed 1-2 times a day and otherwise is in and out as he pleases.
The house is located in the heart of Midtown just a couple hundred feet from Pilot Butte State Park and one mile from downtown Bend. Neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Short drive to grocery store.
The house is in beautiful condition with new kitchen, pool table and outside seating areas. Watering system for yard is automatic.
