We live in a large house on 2 acres looking over the river Tamar. We have two large dogs one is 7 years old very gentle and quite, the second is four years old and initially excitable but calms very quickly. The dogs are walked daily but also spend time playing and running around the garden. The cat is the real boss and come in for feeding and sleeping only.
the house has a pool which will probably be too cold to use during July and will only need the occasional topping up with water. The grass may need a cut but a ride on mower is available although alternative arrangements can be made.
the house has all normal amenities including a gym, a reasonable library (books and videos) and there is plenty of parking should someone have a caravan boat etc.
Launceston is situated in the heart of Tasmania's wine region and within a short 45 minute drive to the beach. There are many local attractions including historic houses, museums, gardens, wildlife park, theatre and river cruises all within short drives.
