My husband and I are going to New York for 10 days and need someone that is invested to watch our kitten who is very affectionate and needs a lot of attention. His name is Max and he is a 7 month old Siberian rescue. He has been with us since January. I work from home and so he is used to someone being home for the majority of the day and gets sad when we leave. He came from a house with a bunch of other cats so he doesn’t like to be alone. He likes to play fetch with his toys and snuggles and sleeps with you if you want. We are currently potty training him with a Citi Kitty toilet training system. It has an insert that sits inside our toilet and he is about half of the way through the training system. Because of the potty training we don’t like to leave him for longer than 4-5 hours at a time in case he has an accident. We are also getting him used to walking around outside with a leash and harness. He isn’t good at walking down the street but likes to explore in our driveway and backyard area.
I have a lot of houseplants too and would need someone who could water them while we are gone.
We live in a one bedroom in a four-plex right on the edge of the "Fab Fourties" in East Sacramento. A beautiful and quiet neighborhood that is just a few blocks away from everything you need. We have a shared driveway and street parking is easy around here. Uber and Lyft are readily available. We are blocks from the beautiful McKinley park, a grocery store, bars (Jungle Bird Tiki Bar), restaurants (La Fiesta & Obo), coffee shops (Hawks and Temple), shopping, etc. The river is also a quick 5 min drive away and is nice to go to during the day. There are great bike trails as well that we like to take down to Old Town Sacramento and visit the famous Fanny Ann's Saloon.
We also have Wifi and an HDMI cable you can hook up from your laptop to our TV if you want to watch Netflix. We do not have regular cable.
