Our 2 bed/2 bath apartment is Deuce's favorite place on Earth. When we leave we usually get a professional dog-sitter to stay here with him, but it has gotten expensive. Our family is in Illionois and they have determined that we are coming to them this year - roadtrip! This happens to be a great time of year in ATX and our complex is on the south shore of Lady Bird Lake. Enjoy Deuce's company and all that Amli South Shore and Austin have to offer!
Where do I begin? You can take advantage of every amenity including a gym, 2 pools and all you can drink Starbucks coffee....
There is so much to do in Austin it's ridiculous so go to TripAdvisor to figure out how best to spend your time. Between using our 2 bikes and being very close to walkable fun you don't need a car. Also, Austin has Car2Go's everywhere and Lyft, Uber and RideAustin are available. We have soaring wifi and full cable package plus Roku for your entertainment. Feel free to eat and drink anything you see, just take care of our little geriatric and the world is your oyster. OH - also, there is a kayak and canoe rental and electric bike rental downstairs which is handy. Plus a bar in the complex :)
Deuce is old and lazy, but super happy. He eats human food that I will have prepared, you just serve twice per day. He does require pills twice a day and walks 3 times a day. Not long walks, because he just doesn't have it in him. He has a lot of friends in the complex that he likes to visit with on these walks, which is literally what makes them time consuming. He prefers to sleep in our bed so if you want a king size your getting a bulldog in there with you. If you prefer to sleep alone - he can't make it into the queen size bed in the other room.
