Dear house-sitters,
Me and my partner, Pip, are looking for house-sitters to take care of our 2 cats on August bank holiday ( 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th and 28th of August) and the 2 cats plus a dog from the 22nd/23rd of December to the 5th of January, while we go see my family in France.
It is a new thing for us, to ask for someone to stay in our flat while we're away. We've been thinking about it, because the last time we went on holidays, we had a pet minder that came everyday to feed and play with our cats, but when we got back, one of them was sick, due to too much stress of being alone. So having someone staying with them would be the best solution.
We leave in Folkestone, 15 minutes walk from the sea, 10 minutes to the city center, in a quiet area. (apart from the seagulls haha! :P) Folkestone is a nice town, there are some nice events going on around Christmas/New Year, there is lots of countryside around.
Our cats are Gaston and Petit-Pois, both one year and a few month, the loveliest cats :) . They love human company, playing, cuddles...
They don't go out, as we're by the road, and don't have a garden.
Our dog is Max, he's staying with a friend up in the Lake District for summer, but will be back in October. He's an old man, 15 years old.
We walk him three/four times a day ( 30 an hour morning and evening, and shorter one midday and bedtime. At home, he spends most of his time sleeping, he's a very nice dog, and goes on very well with the cats.
He has a gluten free diet, so we watch out he doesn't eat anything from the park!
