My family and I are looking for a house sitter for the month of September to take care of our pets (a labrador and two small friendly mongrels, a 4 year old goldfish and a cat). They are all quite independent and, except for the goldfish, live in a big garden. They don't need to be walked on a lead everyday but they will love walking with you in the fields and have a quick swim in the river. All they need is one meal a day, some occasional brushing and lots of love.
We need our sitter to keep the home and garden well maintained and tidy.
The house is a traditional stone and wood one on three floors. The furniture is very frugal and cleaning is quite easy and quick, if done every day.
The village is lovely, very green and a great place for walks in the fields, horse and bike riding and it's 5 minutes' drive from the beautiful lake of Lago.
