Hi! Looking for a responsible caring person to care for our dog and cat for 2-3 days in March.
The home is a 2 bedroom clean, cozy, first floor apartment in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to Brown University, great restaurants, and shopping. We are nonsmokers and would prefer the same in a house sitter as well. There is a working fireplace in the living room as well as a gas grill out on the patio.
Our furry companions are a sweet 12 year old black lab, and a young-ish cat who is pretty low maintenance.
The house-sit would require feeding and litter box scooping twice daily, as well as short am and evening walks around the block with Maggie, our lab. Due to her senior status, her walks are more for sniffing, business-doing, movement, and stimulation, rather that fast-paced exercise.
Our dog also needs to take medications twice daily with meals, but she takes them like a champ as long as there is a little almond butter involved.
We are looking for a gentle, caring, considerate, non-smoking animal lover to care for our fur babies from Monday 3/2 until Wednesday 3/4 or Thursday if you'd like as there is a little flexibility.
