We need someone who will be willing to forego the festivities during Christmas and New Years Eve and spend time with our dog. She becomes fearful and nervous when the fireworks go off and just needs someone to hang out with.
Our 4 bedroom home is located in a nice, fairly quiet neighborhood, but during the week leading up to the New Year, the fireworks intensify. Bones will be fine if you are with her, but may damage the house if not.
We would expect you to do the regular homecare... taking in the mail, take out garbage, keep the home fairly clean. But we aren't perfect housekeepers, so we won't expect perfection. Our primary concern is our dog.
If you do go out, Please take Bones with you when possible. She is usually fine during the day, but during this time of the year, fireworks go off frequently. If you need to do some shopping, she can be left home for several hours in the morning or afternoon, but not at night (when the fireworks are unpredictable). She doesn't like water, but does like hanging out at the beach. She needs 2 walks a day, and occasionally will bark at you if she needs an additional potty break or if she wants to play. She takes medication for allergies once a day. Bonesy is a very easy care dog. She loves people, other animals and learns quickly.
Our favorite beach is 45 minutes away, but there are several other beaches to explore within 15 minutes away. We do not have a land line for our but we do have internet. We also do not subscribe to a cable service, but you can hook up your computer to our televisions or use the DVDs for entertainment.
No smoking, drugs or drinking please.
