We recently bought a Little piece if rural France and have started turning it into our home. We have cleaned and scrubbed and started decorating. So far we have made it comfortable if not completely pretty. Call a rustic charm with comforts.
Clio appeared on the door step a few months later and has become part of the family. She was in quite a bad way when she arrived but is now the picture of health and vitality and we want her to be looked after in her own home so that she stays that way.
We are situated in a small hamlet of 8 house 5 km from closest village with amenities and 15 km from 2 larger towns (1 functional with lots of history and 1 pretty with history) so sitters will need use of a car as public transport is very limited.
We are going away for the Christmas and New year period plus a little more, so we are looking for a sitter or a couple who would like a quiet semi rural location to spend about 4.5 weeks. We have an open fire in the lounge and central heating throughout.
The area is lovely for walking or cycling with many cycling routes mapped out in the area.
Some very pretty villages and Chateaux in the area and we are 30 minutes from the Lacs du Haute Charante.
Approx 45 minutes by car from Limoges Airport and 45 minutes from Angouleme with Train links from both Cities to our closest village.
