We live at Mansfield on the South side of Brisbane in a modest brick and tile home in a quiet established area. A bus linking Garden City (Westfield Shopping Centre) and Brisbane City passes by in both directions every 20 minutes.
We require a responsible and caring person to walk and feed our small, 15yr old poodle-cross dog who lives outside, is partly deaf, but is still quite active. Daily watering of outdoor potplants in the early morning or late afternoon is also required. These pots line our front path and there are some others along a side fence and in the back yard.
Our home is partly highset with some internal steps, light, peaceful and comfortable, but does not have a microwave, dishwasher or queensized bed (double or singles only). We do have a split-system airconditioner in the main living area, a fan in the main bedroom, internet connection (NBN) with wifi, TV and DVD player. Public transport or own car will be needed.
We are seeking a single person or couple who are non-smoking (preferably no alcohol), will care for our dog, our plants, and will keep our home clean and tidy while we are away.
