We require a mature couple for approx 2 months this winter. Our dates are Mid Jan to Mid March.
Our home is comfortable, bright, open concept with gas fireplace and main floor laundry. Large kitchen with new gas stove and every other gadget for home cooked meals.
Nelson is noted for great restaurants, cozy cafés and a huge organic food store.
There are 2 ski hills close by (Whitewater is a half hour drive and Red Mountain is 1 hour)
As house sitters ourselves for the past 12 years we have high expectations from a sitter.
You would be free to ski, snowshoe or explore all day. The odd overnight away also possible if you give us the heads up.
You would be welcome to arrive a day before and stay a day after the sit.
As there is no pet care required we are asking for $350 a month to cover the cost of heat, hydro and Wifi. Parking is right outside the door.
Your only responsibility would be some snow shovelling, taking in the mail and keeping the house as you find it.
