We have a large home in a semi-rural area north of Victoria, BC. We are on 2 acres and have an ocean view. There are lots of trails for walking and hiking nearby. We live in wine country. There are many vineyards around that you can visit. The house has a large master bedroom with ensuite on the main floor so everything you need is on the ground level. There is cable and high speed internet for you to use. You will need a car to get around here, there are no stores within walking distance.
We are looking for a person, or couple, to stay and enjoy some country living. We have the usual house maintenance and no yard work, unless you really like that kind of thing. Hopefully spring will be rolling in while we are away.
We have 2 young male cats that are very friendly. We rescued them as tiny kittens and they are like brothers. One of our boys needs medication twice daily which he takes it in his food, of course he's a picky eater!
Victoria, BC is a lovely small city about 40 minutes south of us with many amenities and attractions. We generally visit the city of Duncan for our needs but there are some lovely villages on the ocean about 5-10 minutes away for you to eat and shop.
