Looking for a sitter for our wolfhound (Nyx) and two cats (Hook and Tink) in our spacious old home in a lovely, quiet area of the New South Wales North Coast.
Our house has small, low-maintenance gardens and is situated away from the main streets but still within easy driving or walking distance to shopping. We have a pool that will not require upkeep during your stay other than checking on the water level if you don't get any rain. There is aircon in the main living area and main bedroom of the house for any really cold days!
Our town of Grafton is an easy drive (about 40-50 mins) away from Coffs Harbour, which is a thriving tourist hotspot with lots to do on a weekend. Yamba and Nymboida are also only short drives away, boasting some of the most gorgeous beaches and rivers on the north coast. The house comes with unlimited internet and a firestick in the main room with several streaming services.
Our animals are all quite low-maintenance outside of feeding and watering; our wolfhound Nyx is three years old and has lost most of her puppy energy- she is shy but friendly and will just want to be in whatever room you're in (she is an inside dog!). She will lay about for most of the day. She doesn't require daily walks but will get very excited if you pull out her leash! She loves to go to the nearby dog park for a run with the other dogs if you feel up to it. Our cats are very self-sufficient and are exclusively indoor cats except for their netted-in run in the back lane. They can be nervous around strangers at first, but warm up quickly and can be very snuggly!
