My lovely 13y/o dog and 4 cats would love to have someone around when I am away to travel a bit. They all have THE best personalities and love company.
I also own a horse, which you can't ride but will have to brush 2x a week. If you are not into horses I can make another arrangement for him so don't let that be the gamebreaker.
Java, the dog, is wise. Not the kind of dog that will catch a ball but she LOVES walks, esp on the beach. Supersuperfriendly and she will steal your heart.
The cats all have their own personalities, they are all very friendly as well. Big and beautiful but not so smart Spinner, old, wise and polite Gollem... He was recently diagnosed with kidneyfailure so is on a diet. So polite, yet so communicative. Then there is Loesje. Who used to have a serious issue until it was discovered she has an auto-immunedisease. Just 1 pill every other day and now she is a worry-free, happy lady who can purr as hard as an old man snoring. Last but not least: Trouble. No complications, even though she lost a leg and her tail in a tragic accident.
The house is a terraced house in a suburb in Oost-Souburg. The guestroom has a queensize bed, and a tvscreen for netflix.
The bathroom has a bath and shower, and of course there are washingmachine and dryer, a microwaveoven and dishwashingmachine available. If you have a license, know to drive stickshift and are allowed to drive here you can even use my car. And bike, and electric scooter. (and TV, laptop, WiFi, just all the regular stuff).
The town itself is not too special but you'll be here in a beautiful time, when the flowers are starting to open and the trees start to blossom. But we do have a fair bit of shops and 2 rather big supermarkets.
There are 2 bigger cities nearby: Vlissingen and Middelburg. And many smaller, but sometimes amazing villages (for example Veere, Domburg, Oostkapelle) and because of the unique shape of the area there is a big huge coastline with lovely beaches and dunes.
I am as easy going as my animals and totally appreciate differences in personalities and all. I don't care about race, gender (or in transition) or if you LBGTQ and probably many letters more. What I do care about is how you treat animals. If you are totally fine with the bioindustry and killing of animals you're not the one I would like to take care of mine. That is why I really prefer a vegan or vegetarian (but expect you to live vegan here. If wanted: I can and will absolutely help you).
I will be away from march 5th till 22nd, but do ask you to come a couple of days earlier. So I can show you the routines and tell you all you need to know. You're also invited to stay a little longer, no problem.
