Stay in a modern and comfortable farmhouse on acreage. The house is well maintained and tidy. You will enjoy the comfortable porch and separate deck with views all around. The nights are dark and the stars are incredible. If watching the heavens is your thing, this is the place to do it. Our beautiful forested mountains, valley and high desert hillsides are primarily Forest Service and BLM land. Hot springs and fishing lakes are nearby. Our 5-year-old lab is a good companion and loves to fetch. We ask that you feed twice a day and walk the dog at least once. There is a long driveway and quiet road that allows off-leash hiking right out our door. The charming town of Cedarville is nearby offering restaurants coffee shops and activities for lovers of adventure and shopping for antiques and local wares. Don't miss our farmers market on Saturdays. This property has a fenced yard around the house and gated entry on the street. Wifi and Directv are here.
HERE is a letter from a sitter:
Hi Doggie and doggie owners,
How nice to hear from you and thank you for sharing the stunning wide vistas from your Cedarville regional farmhouse. Great photo of your Labrador too - there could be a lot of love in that happy face of hers :)
Cedarville, ooh yes, we remember it well from our travels in the NE corner of the state. Stunning region with many attractions as you rightly explain in your inviting sounding listing.
We immediately recognized that old red brick corner store (Main & Townsend Streets) in your photo collage. We have fond memories of exploring the NV-CA state line when researching the back country trails for one of our travel guides. Just seeing the sagebrush out across your view of Surprise Valley and Warner Mountain in the distance makes us feel like we're there again. Early morning photos of ours out on the edge of Upper Alkali Lakebed come to mind straight away. What a great choice of place to live and what a lucky doggie!
So yes, we'd have been delighted to potentially assist you this spring but unfortunately we're in the midst of sorting out another stunning rural acreage-care assignment that will clash with your travel dates. But hey, it happens, matching home-owners dates can be fun at times. Perhaps we'd be fortunate enough to be of potential assistance another time in the future.
Thanks for making contact.
Kind regards and happy travels,
M and D- about to have a morning coffee out on our deck and dream about the Surprise Valley sagebrush :)
