LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
Enjoy cool mountain weather and a volcano view front and center. Watch the Caldera River meander by and see Boquete's twinkling lights at night. Even the pool table has a view.
You do not have to commit to the entire stay. We often have various sitters come in during our absence. There are currently no B&B bookings over these dates, but we may have some late reservations during your stay. The house is divided by the living room and kitchen, with 2 rental bedrooms on one side and the master suite on the other. The 3rd rental bedroom is off the kitchen. You would have your own huge master suite for privacy (see photo), but you would share the kitchen when other guests are here.
This is a slow season for guests and you may very well have the time to yourself. Here are basic expectations in the event that we do receive a booking:
Although we have a keypad entry, we prefer that you are present to check the guests in. The driveway is difficult to find the first time and you will have use of our Hyundai Tucson in case you need to meet them in the village and lead them up to the house. We will make arrangements to have the maid come to clean and do linens when guests depart. We will ask you to stock up on items for a cold breakfast for the guests (save receipts and you will be reimbursed). Our preference is that you set out breakfast and chat with the guests in the morning. Otherwise we only expect you to be cordial to our guests and work out an agreeable kitchen schedule.
This region can have power black outs, propane tank may run out or town may shut off the water supply temporarily. These issues are random and unexpected. If any repairs are needed, we will be reachable by WhatsApp to help solve the problem.
There are no pets, officially, but Whitey, a community dog, usually stops by for breakfast. He's a good boy, so we'll have kibbles available if you see him. We do ask you to water the indoor plants.
