We spent three weeks in this comfortable condo with an affectionate, easy care kitty. Little One is friendly and loving. He can be left alone while you are out sightseeing and will welcome you home with purrs and cuddles when you return.
Francine was a wonderful host. She gave thorough instructions and had good communication. Her home is very comfortable and has everything needed for a short or long stay: well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable bed, cable TV, etc. There is a terrace with a beautiful view where we enjoyed relaxing every night after spending our days exploring Philadelphia.
The location is unbeatable. A short walk to Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the American Revolution museum and many other historic sites and museums. It is also very close to several bus lines which were easy to use to go to further sites such as the amazing Museum of Art and Franklin Institute. There is a small grocery store and a CVS just a block away.
This is a very desirable sit with a lovely host and comfortable home, in a historic city. Highly recommended.

I had a lovely time sitting for a long weekend. Before the trip, Francine and I spoke by phone and she e-mailed me complete instructions for pet and apartment. Upon arrival, I found the ideal apartment - smart, elegant, comfortable - and a friendly, easy cat. Francine's neighborhood is excellent: just a few steps from Washingotn Park and many historic sites. Francine and I kept in contact by text and phone. Everything went smoothly. I enjoyed my time relaxing "en casa" as much as exploring Philadelphia. Thank you, Francine and Little One.

We so enjoyed staying in Francine’s beautiful apartment. It is uniquely decorated with treasures from her travels all over the world. The furniture and bed were quite comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. And OMG, the view from the balcony was fabulous! The apartment is in the most desirable neighborhood (literally) and conveniently located. I can hardly believe how many historical and cultural attractions we visited. And there are so many delicious restaurant choices within walking distance. The best part were Little One and Francine, both of whom we immediately liked. Little One is an incredibly sweet, cuddly cat. Francine is interesting, well-read, and communicated easily and promptly. We highly recommend the sitting opportunity.

It was such a pleasure to care for Fran's lovely apartment perfectly situated in the historic heart of Philadelphia. The view from the balcony was a gift every day. Little One really is a tiny, lovable kitty who kept me company throughout and Fran was wonderful to work with, clearly communicating everything needed to make the housesit successful for all. She left explicit notes and even took the time to forward notifications about cultural events taking place during my stay! This was a great opportunity to walk the historic cobblestone streets in the cradle of our nation. I would love to housesit for Fran and care for Little One again some day!

Francine has a beautiful condo in a high-rise right in the heart of Philadelphia. From her balcony you have an incredible view of the south side of the city and the river. She is very easy to communicate with, and organized in her instructions. Little one, her cat, is very loving and fun. We were able to walk to almost all the attractions in old town and some of the museums. Public transport is very convenient, and easy to get to from the airport. I highly recommend doing a sit for her if you have a chance.
