I am looking for a responsible, non-smoking, mature cat-lover to provide live-in care for my three cats. The cats are mostly older, but in good health. They are happy with their home and routine, and someone to continue that for them, as well as give them love and attention, will keep them that way! Two of them are a bit shy, especially around men or boisterous persons. Their diets are a bit finicky, but that's really the only challenge, and it's not too complicated!
I live in a large one-bedroom apartment with wood floors. The complex is well cared-for, and there are pay washers and dryers on the premises, but not in the apartment. I have internet and basic TV, and a PlayStation3. It's a very comfy apartment.
This is a great part of Chicago! If you are staying within the city, you don't need a car at all. Everything you need is in walking distance. If you want to venture further afield, that's easy: there are several main bus lines blocks away, and a train to downtown, or other fun neighborhoods, is a half-mile away. Another bus, that will take you to the train station, stops just around the corner from my apartment. Lincoln Square itself is a great place to shop, eat, or just hang out. There are still some remnants of the Germans who used to live here, and there are also quite a few central European businesses in the area. The two closest grocery stores are quite delightful to shop in. Coffee shops and restaurants are plentiful. I love living in this neighborhood!
