Our family of four is hiking the Appalachian Trail from April-September This will complete our Triple Crown of the long distance trails (Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail and Appalachian Trail). We live in San Diego North County in the Community of Fallbrook. The house is 1,900 sq. ft with three bedrooms and two baths on half an acre. We will have a gardener come once a week to help maintain the property. Our home is 7-10 minutes away from grocery store, restaurants, and fitness gym. Numerous hiking trails are nearby. Twenty minutes away from Temecula Valley wine country. We are thirty minutes from beaches and Oceanside Harbor, an hour to the mountains and hour and a half to Anza-Borrego desert.
Ollie, Oggie, and Big Orange, our beloved cats. Ollie and Oggie are indoor cats, and Big Orange is both in and outdoors. He was once the stray of the neighborhood after his owner abandoned him. An elderly woman took him in, however she recently passed away. We were next in line to adopt him. He has had a tough life, but he has a heart of gold and a very loud purr! Big Orange is twelve years+, and Ollie and Oggie are eight year old brothers. Cats need regular pet care along with playing, petting, and talking to. We also have a small 2 gallon fish tank with a large golden snail, dwarf frog, and a clown pleco. There are five Russian tortoises in an outdoor enclosure that require low maintenance.
The sitter must be non smoker with good references. Unfortunately, no other pets. Our cats are used to a calm and quiet environment, thus we prefer someone who will not have parties. Since this is a long term sitting we would like to have some of the utilities covered. We would cover 2/3 off the utilities (water, electricity, trash), the other third paid by sitter.
