Pet sitter needed for our Shiba Inu from March arriving on March 4). We are looking for house sitter(s) who will walk Genji twice a day, feed him and keep the house and yard tidy. No mowing or landscaping needed this time of year. He has a big backyard for pondering the universe - which at the age of 7, he does a lot. Walks must be on leash and other dogs are to be avoided.
Early Spring is a slower time in the wine country of Walla Walla, Washington - a town with numerous awards. There remain many activities for a variety of interests. The Blue Mountains are close for skiing, country roads are a mecca for bicyclists and three colleges provide a full venue for lectures, classes, music and theater.
Our home is in a lovely neighborhood of historical homes and w/in a few blocks walking distance of Whitman College, museums, downtown (boutiques, tasting rooms, restaurants), public library and YMCA. The house is comfortable with bright, fully furnished (and stocked) kitchen. Wifi and Netflix but no cable t.v. Sitters have a furnished, open basement w/bathroom and double bed for their stay with full access to the main floor during stay.
For those who chose public transportation, our airport has flights from Seattle and Denver. We can also pick up sitters in Pasco (an hour away) at the airport or train station located there. A car is available here for local needs.
We have had many sitters over the last few years and they all seem to enjoy their stay.
