There was excellent communications from the beginning to the conclusion of the house-sit. The homeowners are very organized, and leave detailed instructions about taking care of the pets and their home. Both pets are older, so just need some loving time spent with them, besides limited exercise for Emmy the dog.
Great urban hikes right from their home and close to downtown Portland.

We stayed with Tilly and Emmylou while their family traveled to visit family. The house and neighborhood was very nice with lots of trees, local food sources (on of the best farmers market we've been to) and local trails. Rebekah and Jeannie mapped out interesting areas to visit as well as instructions on how to care for their animals and the maintenance of their home. Communication was clear and they were a pleasure to work with.

Staying with Rebekah and Jeannie's crew was lovely! Communication and expectations were clear from the get-go and the homeowners were always responsive to any texts. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to find/execute. Emmylou, Tilly and the bunnies provided good company and were a pleasure to take care of. Their house is a surrounded by beautiful green spaces which made me feel like it was a mini oasis while also super close to bus lines into downtown Portland. Thanks for the opportunity, would love to sit again!

I had a wonderful time taking care of Tilly and EmmyLou in Portland! The home owners were kind, upbeat, and very clear about their hopes and expectations for care of their beloved pets as well as the house. Hillsdale is a dear spot in Portland; it's own community not very far from downtown. I highly recommend sitting at UrbanGardenHome!

Emmy and Tilly were absolutely a delight to watch and get to know (dog and cat) they warmed up to me quickly and we had a delightful week. The back porch felt like a tree house and Emmy and I explored more and more of the winding neighborhood streets on our many daily walks.
The owners are such a delight, I can only hope they call upon me again in the future!
