We live in the outskirts of Ripon, one of England’s smallest cathedral cities. We would prefer house sitters from the UK due to fears over international travel in Aug-Sept this year. We are ten minutes walk from the historic Market Square yet overlook farmland and the nature reserve lake. The river Ure is a short walk away, then leads to tens of miles of country walks. We have private easily managed gardens and two dogs. We have three bedrooms, two of which are ensuite, a living room, dining room that can be opened into the large conservatory, and a good sized kitchen. The rear garden is dog proof, with a gate leading to the front gardens, ponds and parking for 3 or more cars. Within the city boundaries there are several supermarkets, various stores, restaurants, cinema and other facilities e and spend your time exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, the Pennine hills, the sea coast, the world heritage site Fountains Abbey and so much more. Or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings of our lovely little city. The cockapoo is everyone’s friend and easy to manage; the Yorkie is an old man but soon becomes lovable. Neither should be left alone for more than two hours at a time. They enjoy one walk a day plus plenty of time in the garden.
