My house is in the Garden District, a 4 mile stretch of historic homes between the Mississippi River and St. Charles Avenue. This is the perfect location for you to feel like a local.
From the front porch, you can see the ships going up and down the Mississippi.
Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, the house is just a short 4 block walk from the best shopping district on Magazine Street, and a few more blocks to the historic St. Charles Avenue Streetcar line. In this area there are fine restaurants, ranging from po-boy shops to James Beard Award-winning fine dining restaurants.
The historic French Quarter, 2.5 miles away, and easily reached by bus or streetcar, is one of the most visited locations in the United States. The culture of New Orleans is like no other. Music, Food, Shopping, Museums, and more are everywhere you turn. There is no need for a car.
I do not have any pets just a flower garden which may need watering, and also a very small patch of grass that will need string trimming.
I would like to be gone for 3 months starting in mid-May, but I am flexible. This housesit is for 1 person.
Ok, got all the photos to load.
