We are looking for a house sitter between Dec 24 - Jan 9, 2024 for our year-old Australian Labradoodle. She is small and very adorable.
We live in a suburb about 45 east of San Francisco and will be traveling during this time. We would like to find a single or couple who can stay in the house and watch our dog (Echo). She likes to go for a walk in the morning and the afternoon but can be left home at times during the day as she has free run of the backyard. There are walking paths and parks near our house. There are foothills where you can walk and let her off leash about 5 minutes drive away. Echo is very low maintenance.
Echo knows she does not go on the furniture and stays downstairs. She is crate trained and at night will walk into her crate when it is time for bed. She is generally quiet and rarely barks but she does get excited when new people come to the house. After a few minutes, she calms down.
My parents, who live within 2 miles and have an eight-year Australian Labradoodle, will also be traveling with us and may have a house sitter. So, there may be an opportunity to meet up with them so both dogs can play. The dogs like to play with each other. We may have both dogs in one house. We are open to discussing this.
The neighborhood is very quiet and the house is very comfortable. It is an easy train ride into San Francisco if you want to go for the day and explore. Echo could stay home.
