Beautiful view home in Kirkland, just north of Bellevue (right across the lake from Seattle) & just 2 blocks uphill from Houghton Beach. The home was designed & sited for maximun visual privacy & is on a dead end road so it's very quiet. It has an open floor plan with lake, mountains & garden views from 2 levels.
Main floor has kitchen, LR, DR, 2 BR, 2 baths and an office. Sliding glass doors open onto large deck with BBQ, tables, chairs, propane heaters - and fabulous views.
Lower level is almost an independent guest suite. It has a LR, DR, a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, bar sink), 1 BR, 1 bath - & a sliding glass door to patio, garden, & outdoor sauna.
Home is walking distance to beaches, the Cross Kirkland Trail, an upscale grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants - and only 1 mi to downtown Kirkland for even more amenities.There are bus stops within 2 blocks but you'll need a car if you'd like to do longer excursions.
I am looking for house & dog sitter(s) who will take good care of our home & houseplants, and who will watch over our very large garden & report any problems with irrigation system.
I will be gone 8/29 -> 9/8, then home till 9/11, then gone for 9/12 & 9/13. You could leave 9/9 or stay till 9/14 if you wish. The house is big enough to accommodate all of us for the short time we'd be there together. Just LMK your preferences.
Our dog is a 12 YO standard poodle, well behaved, fairly sedate & totally loveable. She gets fed 3x/day, plus pills (so you need to be comfortable pilling her.) Her food is frozen so has to be defrosted & available as needed.
