I am looking for an individual or a couple to come and experience Bulgarian nature, village life, and probably a lot of snow! I have rescue doggies who are so good and mostly stay indoors. They are house doggies and 2 of them like to sleep on sofas / in beds (but they don't have to sleep with you if you don't want that). They all have small health problems so they all eat different meals. The role involves waking up them and letting them out for a wee, feeding them breakfast, and going for a walk (2 or 3 of them will join you). The house is on the edge of a village in a peaceful spot - hardly anybody comes up here. Surrounded by woodland, hills, fields, nature everywhere.
The house is a large house with 2 orchards and barns. I am converting the barns into studios for art, yoga and circus. Next year I want to run retreats for artists. In the house I have a space dedicated to yoga, and another space dedicated to arts and crafts. You are welcome to use these spaces if it's of interest to you.
The village is quite isolated, but if you have a car or rent a car you can explore so many nearby places - Veliko Tarnovo (30 minutes away), Pavlikeni (20 minutes away), Sevlievo (20 mins) , Dryanovo (20 mins). Emen waterfall and canyon is 15 minutes away and Etar Ethnographical Village not far away.
Or maybe you prefer to stay indoors and hibernate! The house has 2 woodburners and all wood will be ready for you.
The village has about 6 shops and a cute little restaurant with cheap food.
The house will stay clean and tidy and the role will include picking up dog poo from outside. :) Main job is to keep the dogs alive and enjoy the peace and quiet in nature!
