We're looking for someone to look after our cat - Tigger - for approximately 10 days end of March/beginning April '23. (Dates are flexible up until the moment we need to book transport for our own trip.)
We live in a 40 m2 modern flat just outside of Strasbourg centre. Our flat is surrounded on 3 sides by greenery (parks, gardens, waterways and canal paths). The nearest supermarket is less than 10 minutes away on foot, through the park.
Strasbourg is a small city with a fantastic network of trams and buses. You can be in the city centre in just half an hour on the bus/tram or walk there in less than 45 minutes from our front door.
I don't think I need to sell just how attractive Strasbourg is as a travel destination... I'll leave you to roam the net to help you decide what you'd like to do whilst you're here.
Our flat has a main room and a bedroom. There is a single bed in each room. A 'guest' mattress is also available. A big balcony adds an extra 10m2 of space with a Lafuma recliner, table and chairs and a great view. The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer (we'll leave some space for your ice-cream) and a washing machine. The bathroom is equipped with a shower.
Tigger is a 9 year old male (neuteured). He's a happy fella as long as you feed and cuddle him. He's part tabby, part Norwegian Forest cat. He talks - a lot - and he's happiest when he's cuddled up in your arms whilst you relax. He'll play for hours - we usually give up before he tires. He particularly likes having his favourite mouse thrown for him to fetch! Oh, and he might glare at you when you go out, but otherwise he's a total sweetheart.
Apart from looking after Tigger - when you're not visiting Strasbourg and the Alsace - the only thing we ask is that you leave the flat as clean as you find it. Don't worry, we're not clean freaks and there's even a robot vacuum cleaner to do most of the work ;)
