We are an American couple who are blessed to own a lovely 6 Bedroom home with Pool on 10 acres just North of Tampa Florida. We are looking for a mature couple that understand the ins and outs of caring for a home to help us out with Gardening, Cleaning, General Home Maintenance and looking after a mini pony.
These are the types of tasks we need help with: General care-taking of the property; General gardening; mow lawn (we have a ride-on lawn mower) trim hedges with electric trimmer; weeding; Rake when needed; Fertilize fruit trees; Experience in additional types of property and home maintenance as well as pony/horse knowledge a big plus! We have a mini pony that need looking after. (She loves to go for walks in our small gated neighborhood!)
Enjoy the 'nature coast' of Florida with Kayaking, fishing, hiking! White sugar-sand beaches just minutes away on the Gulf of Mexico or farther afield in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota. Explore the Disney Parks, Marine World, Universal Studios as Orlando is just an to 2 hour drive. Lots of fun outdoor restaurants with live music just minutes away. Busch Gardens and the lovely Adventure Park water park as well as museums, professional sports, theatre, music etc etc etc in the city of Tampa!
We require a mature married couple that own a home or have owned a home in the past. Please be aware that you must, ABSOLUTELY rent/bring your own car/motorbike while you are here. (Unfortunately due to neighborhood rules, no over large motorhomes allowed.) If you are coming from outside the United States, it is often much cheaper to rent a vehicle long term from your home country than within USA. Also, though we adore animals, we ask that caretakers do not bring their pets for this assignment.
