I am looking for a house sitter for July 15 - August 15 to care for my home, my dog Romeo, a very small garden and yard. My dates have a little bit of flexibility.
My home is located in the Sandia Mountains, an area called the East Mountains, outside of Albuqueque. It sits at 6900 ft elevation in the pinon and ponderosa pines. National Forest and Wilderness access is just across the street for spectacular hiking. I have a very warm, clean and comfortable home, remodeled within the past 10 years. Non-smoking household. The neighborhood is very quiet with very kind and helpful neighborrs if needed. It is an easy 20 minute commute to Albuquerque. Santa Fe is one hour away on one of the most beautiful drives in NM.
My garden is very small and needs brief daily watering along with a few planters. Depending on the rains my yard may need a little mowing, once every 2-4 weeks. House plants will need watering once a week.
Romeo needs to be walked 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening. He loves to hike and I would prefer someone who would enjoy this as well to keep him fit and entertained. He has a large fenced yard and can easily be left for several hours up to 8 hours occassionally. He is very well trained on a leash and loves to play but is also a very quiet and loveable dog. He is 70lbs.
A non-smoker is required.
