Gotta truely love animals, really enjoy taking care of plants; we have many on our balconies and patio; and prefer early mornings ( be honest). Also, be prepared for steps, steps and more steps. We live up Calle Argentina which is quite steep. Luckily our home is only about 1/4 the way up Argentina so only one short, uphill climb is needed to get to the foot of our walkway. The walkway is 35 steps up to our door. (Think dog walking). Then, once inside there 3 floors plus a rooftop. Your accommodations will be on the second floor. We always strategize our trips upstairs so we're making the fewest number of climbs each day!
Sept/ Oct in PV means sun, heat and humidity and spectacular storms to cool it down. Rain usually arrives in the afternoon or early evening, clears afterwards. You'll have plenty of time to play before or after the rain. Occasionally, there may be an overcast day. It's rare!
If you enjoy cooking our kitchen is well equipped. The house is comfortable with 3 AC units; one on each floor.
The Botanical Gardens are a must see, the mariposa sactuary lovely and interesting. PV offers many tourist adventures. There's hiking as well.
Alaska (appx 50 lb mixed breed dog), 9 yrs old, and Cessie out 18 yr old cat ate easy going with no special needs. As with all babies however they must be fed and watched over, Alaska walked and litter boxes cleaned. Alaska loves people, other dogs are not her favorite. Both our kids are indoor pets; never, ever off our property but for Alaska's walks. They'll be your best friends. Cessie is ruler of the roost and she knows it. She's a social grazer; prefers to eat when one of us is with her. The challenge could be keeping Alaska away from Cessie's bowl.
You'll enjoy the babies and Puerto Vallarta.
