We are looking for someone reliable to housesit in from late November till approx New Years Day.... around 6 weeks in total.
We have a great little blue heeler who loves her walks and chasing the ball in the park at our back gate.
Central location in Cairns... only 10 minutes to the Esplanade, Southside and Northside. Great spot.

We quickly came to love Rob & Sue's blue heeler Ziggy. You would have to be there or at least see videos to understand the bond we developed with Ziggy, and we can also say with confidence that Rob, Sue, their two daughters, are 'good people', welcoming. O uh r first get to know then was an awesome hike in the nearby hills accompanied by a refreshing swim. We went through Cyclone Jasper and later flooding, taking a lot of extra precautions to protect out Ron + Sue's property, including constructing a mini hotel for Ziggy with us in the 'safe zone', overcoming several power outages. We took care of their salt pool, lawns, plants, and anything needing maintenance. If the reader is considering helping Rob and Sue, either in Cairns or elsewhere, we can vouch for them, go ahead and help them, and their children, we believe, like our sentiments, it will be a positive experience!
