My loving 3 year old Ragdoll cat, Camembert, needs some company while I'm traveling. We live in the heart of The City of London. The apartment is on the first floor of a small 3 storey block with a lift. It’s extremely well located to walk everywhere touristy in 15 to 30 mins but it’s tucked away on a square, so it’s very quiet.
We're just off Leather Lane market, a lively street filled with food stalls 10-2 Monday to Friday, and a 2 min walk from Chancery Lane tube station (Central Line) and 5 minute walk away from Farringdon station (Elizabeth Line, Circle & District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and National Rail main line station.) Gatwick and Heathrow are both under 50 mins direct from Farringdon. We’re a 12 minute walk to Covent Garden or St Paul’s.
Our kitchen is fully kitted out with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc. There’s a table in the lounge you can work from. We have a shower over the bath with good water pressure. There are two toilets. The apartment is south facing, so nice and bright. We have a television and very fast and reliable internet, as I usually work from home.
Before I was blessed with Camembert I was lucky enough to travel all over the world as a house/pet sitter, having been registered with Housecarers since 2009.
Camembert is very low maintenance: his litter box uses smart packs, which are pre-prepared lift in / lift out liners, so it’s a 30 second change once a week plus one mid week poop scoop. His water and food are automatic. You might need to refill the water (and less likely his food), but this depends on length of stay.
Camembert is a house cat and he can be quite shy, but he is sweet and gentle and loves to play. He’s used to having someone around, so he does get lonely. I'd appreciate you spending some time with him every day :)
