Hi! We are an "empty nest" couple with a nice nest in a suburban town near Boston. We are both in the arts, as are our grown kids, so the house is full of instruments and is super warm and comfy. It's a comfy home with a fenced yard, deck, and 2 big vegetable gardens in season. Our pup is a sweet cuddly active 45 pound 5 year old female supermutt, and her name is Skye. She likes hanging out with people, long walks, playtime, naps, and lots of cuddles on the couches. She doesn't sleep in the bed. She also can be a bit reactive to dogs she doesn't know, so walks need to be on leash, and some emotional support when passing unknown dogs. But, she can have playdates with her friends in our fenced yard.
We are in a quiet neighborhood on the East side of Lexington, near the Arlington border, a few blocks from shops and restaurants. Walking distance to a French cafe, Trader Joes, Walgreens, and Starbucks, and a min walk to Arlington Heights with restaurants, etc. We are 2 miles from Lexington Center down a lovely bike path, or 5 blocks to the Arlington Reservoir and park, and very close to the Arlington Great Meadow with lots of trails.
IMPORTANT: This is a suburban location, and the closest MBTA station is a 10 minute drive - there are buses but they don't always run evenings and weekends. Getting around Cambridge/Boston area is easiest with a car, or combo car/subway.
