My Fiance and I (Two South Sfricans living in Malta.) are going to South Africa in December to get married and spend the holiday season with our families.
We have recently adopted two cats that we wish we could take with. When we adopted them, the shelter explained to us what happened to them and that has resulted in a lot of trauma in them at the moment. We would love to take them with on the trip but to uproot them at this time doesn't feel like the right thing.
We are looking for a house/pet sitter who will be able to feed them in the mornings and evenings, clean their litter boxes and let them out of the bedroom to runa bd play around the house and in their cation on the balcony.
There was a recent issue in Malta where a staffie went missing in the care of a pet sitter. We are so extremely worried that something like this will happen to our babies, so we are looking for someone with extremely reputable references and reviews...
We don't have a lot of funds to place them in a kennel and we also dont want to place them in a kennel because of uprooting.
