Hi! Our 12 year old dog (neutered/house trained) is an easy companion and needs 2 meals a day, 1-2 short walks a day, and affection. We have a fenced backyard and he likes to lay in the sun for a short time each day, or sit on the front porch with you. He also loves occasional trips in the car to nearby parks, but he can't jump up higher than the curb. He has bone spurs so he takes vitamin supplements with his dinner and gets an occasional anti-inflammatory if he's limping. He's never been aggressive and is otherwise healthy and happy.
We live 1 mile from downtown Bryan, and Texas A&M University is a 10 minute drive away. The grocery store is 2 miles away and the hospital is a 4 minute drive. Our neighborhood is fairly quiet and on the edge of the historic district. Our nonsmoking house is a 50s cottage but well maintained. There is a separate garage apartment that is occupied and you probably won't see them, but they are there in case of emergency. Wifi is high speed and reliable. We have about 10 container plants that need weekly watering. The mail needs to be checked daily and the garbage can goes out to the curb weekly.
Our dog is used to being around us nearly all the time as we are semi-retired and work remotely. He can be left alone in the middle of the day between meals/pee breaks.
